I Started My Internship at LeafTeck
As of August 3rd, 2026 — I'm officially an intern at LeafTeck.
This is a big step for me. Up until now, most of my development work has been self-directed — building ERPs, client WordPress sites, and personal projects on my own terms. Now I get to work inside a real team, with real codebases, real deadlines, and real code reviews.
Why I'm Excited
- Learning from experienced developers — There's only so much you can pick up building solo. I want to see how senior engineers think about architecture, debugging, and trade-offs.
- Working on production systems — My projects have been production-grade, but there's a difference between deploying your own ERP and contributing to software that's already serving users at scale.
- Growing my professional network — Being around other developers, designers, and product people daily is something I've been missing.
What I Bring
I'm not walking in empty-handed. I've shipped a full ERP system, built client websites, automated social media pipelines with AI, and maintained production deployments. I know how to build things that work.
But I also know what I don't know yet — and that's exactly why I'm here.
What's Next
I'll be documenting interesting things I learn during the internship on this blog. No fluff — just honest notes on what I'm picking up, what surprises me, and what I'd tell past-me.
Stay tuned.
